Opus Instruments to Join InArt 2026 in Funchal

Opus Instruments will bring the Apollo Infrared Reflectography Camera to InArt 2026, including a live workshop exploring infrared imaging in practice. 

Opus Instruments is pleased to announce its participation in the 7th International Conference on Innovation in Art Research and Technology (InArt2026), taking place in Funchal, Madeira, from 7–11 September 2026.

The conference brings together researchers, conservators, curators, heritage scientists and technology professionals working at the intersection of cultural heritage, science and technology. InArt provides an interdisciplinary platform for sharing research, discussing new methodologies and exploring technological approaches to the characterisation, conservation and preservation of cultural heritage

Join the Apollo Workshop at InArt

On 7 September, at 14h00, Opus Instruments will host a live workshop demonstrating the Apollo Infrared Reflectography Camera and its applications in the examination of artworks.

The session will combine a practical demonstration with an introduction to infrared reflectography, showing how Apollo can reveal information beneath the visible surface and support conservation and technical art history.
