Due to the UK’s exit from the European Union and the changes that are due to come into effect as of the 1st January 2021, we will shortly be moving our stocking and shipping activities to our facility in Lisbon, Portugal.

This move will help mitigate any complications that are associated with the Brexit process.

All communications will continue to be through our UK based office. Therefore the only change for our customers that reside outside of the UK is a change to the shipping location. Additional changes for our UK customers are still being investigated and will be announced in due course.

Of course, the upcoming holiday period allows for a natural time to transition. With this in mind, the last shipment from the UK will be on the 14th December 2020 and the first shipment from Portugal will be on the 11th January 2021. There are no planned shipments between these two dates.

The Brexit process represents a period of change for many UK businesses, but you can be assured that the combination of Opus’s already substantial European base alongside thorough planning will help to ensure continuity and stability for Opus, and for our worldwide network of camera users.
